Richie Rich #3 In Stores Now

Now the third issue of "Richie Rich" published by Ape Entertainment is out nationwide. Again, this issue has another chapter of "Professor Keenbean's Corner" written by me and drawn by James Silvani.

If you didn't get your copy early in San Diego at Comic-Con last weekend (and get it signed by Sid Jacobson, creator of Richie Rich) like I did, then carry your behind down to a comic shop and pick it up! Or if you think comic shops are scary, order it online from Midtown.

Today the second issue of the re-vamped "Richie Rich" comic book that is being published by Ape Entertainment hit comic shops everywhere. Included in this issue is another chapter of "Professor Keenbean's Corner" written by me and drawn by James Silvani.

If you are in Baton Rouge, I went into Louisiana's Double Play on Sherwood today and they have copies. Otherwise, you can order it online from Midtown Comics in New York.

Like That on the iPad

My graphic novel, "Like That" is now available to read on the iPad. This digital version includes a all-new special features (including videos) and is also priced at only 99 cents!

If you have an iPad, you should download it from the App Store. I mean, c'mon, it's cheaper than a Jumbo Jack!

Richie Rich #1 is out now!

I'm a little late in posting this, but this month saw the release of the re-imagined "Richie Rich" comic book that is being published by Ape Entertainment. The best part about the new series (to me anyway) is that I had a hand in writing it. I wrote a one page segment called "Professor Keenbean's Corner" that is included in the first issue (drawn by the masterful James Silvani).

This is a significant milestone for a couple of reasons. First, it's the first time I've written a comic script that was drawn by someone that I've never spoken to or met (though I hear James is a real stand-up guy as well as a heck of an artist). Secondly, this marks the first time that a freelance comic piece I've written was actually published (and I didn't pay for it!).

Anyway, this actually is the first of four installments of "Professor Keenbean's Corner" that I have written for Ape, and each will be included in the first four issues of "Richie Rich." Richie Rich #1 is available at comic stores everywhere now or you can order it online. Also, check out this great review of it by Chris Barat.

2 the Movies is Back!

We're back, baby! And like all great television shows, we've moved to the web and cut content. All joking aside, I think the new shorter web format will be better at attracting our core film-going audience and allow us more freedom in the reviews, such saying things like "bad ass." Enjoy! (click the image below for the link to the video).
